RO water questions

Ok I think I've caught the problem but I like bouncing these ideas around for better perspective I've only ever used Kroger RO water for my first grow I'm told there is no calcium in the water so I put 3 mil of calmag every watering and feeding but my babies are doing this

I'm thinking now I need to add more calmag any help to a newb would be helpful

I would start bringing your water down to a ph of 6.1 before entering the soil. You should add some light carbs/sugars for the finish ; )

Sugars....as in molasses...liquid seaweed
Some like molasses, some have great success with organic coconut sugar. Nothing crazy, very light amounts. Liquid seaweed is always great but I usually add that in earlier. It's hard to say what you need because I don't know your medium mix/regiment but you seem to have got her back on track!

Do not lower your pH. 6,5 is great 6,1 is on the low side and out of range for phosphorus uptake. Keep it as it is. RO water has shit buffer so it basicly immediatelly buffers soils pH once it hits the dirt. You should better focus on your runoffs EC values to see if you feeding them enough or not. You are probably mid flower so now is important to give them more P and K as well as keep the optimal soil pH for Ca and Mg to prevent lockout and at late flower lower N to minimum. Basicly you need to do everthing to keep P and K availible for them. In my eye they are just def and for sure pH 6,5 do not make any issue.

Yea I kinda liked it at 6.5 but first timer so i have a ppm pen but no way to monitor ec but I realized a couple weeks back I wasn't feeding enough I kept the ppm around 800 bumped it up to 1200(fox farm) and it burned a tiny bit but I forgot to bump up the calmag so I'm prolly gonna go with 1000ppm and 6mils of the calmag and I think I'll be ok

EC and ppm are the same things
