Is my sensi skunk in flowering stage?

Hello,

I just started my first plant, so I am clueless on some things. Please don't yell at me;)

The amount of mistakes I did is quite huge. The biggest one was putting it too close to LED lights, causing some leaf burns.

Anyway, it is now 16 days after planting it into a pot. And I am afraid that it just started flowering stage. Please, look at my picture with your experienced eyes. Are those first signs of flowering?

Plant is nearly 15cm height at the moment.

If yes, should I start to add flowering fertilizers from now on? Is it even possible for that plant to start flowering that early?

Thank you in advance!

Not flowering. When it it starts throwing out a bunch of white hairs and you can see it's starting to round into into the shape of a bud then start adding flowering nutes.. You might be tempted to jump the gun when you see it starts showing sex. You will see a bunch of white hairs at each node. Be patient and wait for it to round out and look like buds.

Here is an example of a plant you might be tempted to switch over to bloom nutes.. You will want to give it another 5ish days and let it finish it's stretch.

Indicators of sex are generally easiest to spot on the lower nodes than the top node. At the top it's too easy to see new leaves and mistake them for hairs.
It will be unmissable when it happens.

Thank you.

No, I have not seen cannabis flowers that are not dried and packed...

As I mentioned on beginning - it is all new for me. This plant went through some serious stuff from beginning (over heating, leaf burns, replanting, low humidity...), so I am a bit nervous how it will end. I saw some info on the internet that it can happen sometimes as early as 3 weeks from planting. All the pictures I saw wasn't really helping me out. Now, as far as I understand, color is also important, as those are only sex organs.

Thank you for help!

Were the flowers only leafs or was there something else to them also? Thats my point

Cannabis buds are these that are dried:

Those are cannabis flowers, if you dont see flowers, then its not flowering. They grow in big clusters that together make up the bud. But when the plant is starting to flower, it will make first few single ones of these on the main stem. If it wasnt an autoflower and you gave it long vegetative time, it might grow few of these on stem even before it flowers. Those single calyxes on stem are called pre flowers. With autoflowers they indicate that flowering stage has begun. As they do with photoperiod plants which did not show them before putting them under 12/12 light.

More leaf and stems there are in the bud, generally worse quality it is. But amount of trichomes is also a good indicator, but these and those very small leafs coming between the buds are what have the most trichomes and THC.

How old is your plant. I was given 4 autos and I’ve never grown them. Just trying to do a comparison.

I have 4 autos going, and they are showing preflowers on day 18 if that gives you an idea. I’ve never grown autos, but these were gifted to me as seedlings, so giving it a go. They are between 6 and 8 inches is all.

That one was day 35.

Everyone grows a little different, but mine usually are about 6-8 inches (pic above included) tall at day 18. Then they explode around day 20-30. Comparing to others will just leave you frustrated. It always look's greener on the other side lol. But I like to think when my girls are small in veg they are just making themselves beautiful underground.

When you say they are showing preflowers are you sure you don't just mean showing their sex ? Mine usually start showing their first white hairs coming from the calyx around day 20ish.

Great, that’s the info I was looking for. Mine are about 7” day 19. White Widow. So I likely have some significant stretch ahead of me over the next 10 days or so. And yes, I’m seeing a few white hairs. I call those pre flowers, but maybe that’s not the correct term.

Keep on veg nutes .... autos run own their OWN terms. Veg feed will supply nutes for stretch phase once “ sexxing “ ( early pistil ) and ACTUAL buds ( preflower ) start to show ..... you are not there yet.

So it is now day 19 since planting (it is around 8 inch long, however I used LTS technique, so it's more horizontal then vertical so far) . Indeed, what I saw in the first post of this topic, was just new leaves... That wasn't flowering, but from internet photos it was hard to decide wtf I am looking at for 100%. Thanks CannaOnerStar for showing me good pictures about flowers.

Yesterday I noticed 3 single calyxes growing from main branch. So this is just normal behavior and, as you are all saying, i am not yet at flowering stage;) I stick to growing phase for now.

Thanks again:)
