depends on the strain your growing. most photos need 12 hrs of darkness and 12 hrs of light to flower.
i have hindu kush crossed with kush from sensi seeds and it flowers in the shade no need for darkness i was shocked

you must have kind weather over the pond, those wouldn't last through one lot of wind we get here, you would have broken branches all over the place.
can you put them in a dark car port for 12 hrs a day?

They should be well into flowering by now, somethings not right here ...

That’s what I was thinking! Follow a hemp grower from Virginia as well, maybe about an hour or so drive away and all of his plants are in flowers. Should I reach out to the breeder?

do you have any lights that are on during the night time?? or any street lighting that could be affecting them?

thats your problem in my opinion, light polution keeping them from flowering. the only thing you can do is bring them into the house and into a dark room for the 12hrs or build some kind of shelter that out of wood and some black plastic cover on it to do the same

Thank you VERY much! Would’ve never had thought. Going to turn the outdoor light off when I get back home and hopefully that’ll help. No room inside unfortunately

you will be amazed at how klittle light it takes to stop flowering. can you build a special cover or them. it can be as simple as a pole up above the plants and black plastic sheeting over the top. hell you cancover them without the pole too if you need to

That is not even kind of true. If outdoor plants needed 12/12 to start flowering then many of us would not be able to grow since that only happens at the end of sept (when many of us are only a couple of weeks away from harvest.

Plants will start initiating flowering when the light gets below 14.5 hours.

Goodness. I’m four weeks behind
Two things can really affect flowering times. One is genetics. 2 is too much nitrogen (which doesn't look like your case)
Unless your yard has a bright flood light shining right on them I doubt this is the problem. It takes a lot of light to keep them in veg. Trust me there are many people who add light outdoors to keep them in veg longer and it takes A LOT.
Many growers have their plants in the back yard in the city and have neighbors lights and all kinds of lights everywhere and do just fine.
My guess is it's the genetics personally. Some of mine are well into flower and others are just starting.

Yep. ID'd my first male flower on July 17 here in Massachusetts. Everything was in flower and the males all cut down by the first week of August. Artificially-induced indoor timings don't apply to outside grows.

Definitely going to look into it
