can anyone id this bug and is it harmful to cannabis.

That looks like an adult thrip ... and yes they do a lot of damage. Like white scratches on top of your leaves

I would say your right about the pest but wrong about it’s age.

I would say it’s maybe 1st or 2nd instar larva

i did some more digging and found these are aphids. they look like thrip but aphids have the two exhaust pipes coming out the back. lady bugs feast on these.
