White Powder Starting To Form

Just switched these two Northern Legends in 3 gal. Fabric pots to Flower 12/12 and i noticed white powdery substance on alot of the darker leaves. Its hard to see in the picture but appears to be getting worse. I put in an extra de humidifier to see if that helps. Humidity has been getting to %70 at night. Should i trim alot of the bigger leaves? Should i turn my exhaust fan speed up? Any help appreciated. First time grower. Thanks

Get some neem oil and safer soap. You can also use something like dawn if you have that. Mix about 1.5 tsp of neem to 1/2 tsp soap in 32 oz bottle. Spray the shit outta them, let them dry, then put them back under the lights.

.

Kremballer could you take a few closeup pictures of the affected leaves. Also if you have a magnifying scope take a look at the powder, see if it's like a bunch of clear tubes.

It sounds like you have Powdery Mildew, you may be able to save your crop.

You're welcome. I would spray them right away and when you come back. Leaving them as is for 3 days will only make it harder to get rid of it. Grab some neem that is 100%. I like using dynagro. Smells kinda like sesame seed oil to me. Prob a lil stinkier tho.

Use this to help you keep your environment in the optimal range. If you can do that consistently you will have a great chance at not getting PM.

Scope them, if the white is a crystal structure, no worries if you have been spraying the leaves. If it has an organic look like little fiber optic strands going everywhere, pm. I use GreenCure, H2O2, and Actinovate to treat pm, never had an issue controlling it but it will take continued spraying thru harvest. Good luck!

yep mildew, use a 10% milk water solution or some sodium carbonate solution on them, it will stop it

I dont think so, you need the milk or sodium carbonate to nutralize the mildew with a basic soluton, milk n sod carbonsate are alkaline, so they neutralize the acidic mildew
