when to flip from seed?

Whats everyones opinions of flipping from seed plants? A lot of people still say 60 days from germ to let them fully develop. Im not looking for a massive yield on this strain, just focused on quality. They are extremely finicky plants indoors for sure (PinkleBerry Kush). Seed began breaking soil 7/15. I really wanted a 3 month veg, but due to electricity cost of 2 hps/mh ballasts, and 2 acs (1 portable, 1 window) in a 20x18x16 grow garage. Switching to cmh next run so heat wont be so much of an issue.

I veg under cheap Chineseum crap sometimes if flower tent lags a bit. A good old mezhi1200. Its a solid veg light i paid 100 bucks for. I have used it to flower but not as good a result.

Compact SOG with CFL's

I'm new to IC and was wondering if anyone does a SOG style grow with CFL's on a Micro-level? The reason I ask is Bcuz I do it's 210 watts of CFL's over 27 clones in 2 sq. ft. The girlz grow in a 16 oz soda bottle filled with my own soil mix...they finish in 9 weeks and Avg. 7- 21 Grams dried...

i kinda bit off more than i could chew cooling wise when i decided to convert the garage temps were tough to control in the beginning {open garage with rafters}

I'm a bit past micro grows lol , all plants are now 16 inches tall, and 16 inches wide, a couple 22" wide. nice thick branches, nearly a 1/4" thick, stalk is about bic lighter width standing up, not length wise (I wish). i have to say my soil is impressive, processing and breaking down my dry amendments quick! plants growing vigorously.

Those boxes do veg great. I've got 2 of the Viparspectra 600's that take my rooted clones and create big bushy plants.

But those dual fan cooled blurples are noisy as fuck!

Man that old blue box has grown a bunch if weed. Lol. Its like 5 or 6 years old I think, not one led blown. Tough ol bird.

just got another tent and using it for seedlings and veg, using t5 in this and they seem to do great. light on the heat and power use
