There's no need to bring police behavior into the conversation. If you owned a road, it seems reasonable you would have the right to make sound safety rules regarding the use of the road. Of course a democracy could vote that owners DON'T have the right to control their property, or their bodies, too.
ALL govt are authoritarian, not just democracy. If a govt can use deadly force to project their will on its subjects then its fake freedom. Authoritarian, derived from authority. The govt has the ability and AUTHORITY to imprison or even kill you if you dont like follow a rule or law. So basically freedom is a false premise in any govt structure.
