Nut Burn

hi everyone I need to ask a question about nuts and the labels on bottles , most say to give 1/2 - 1 tsp per gallon of water, but that seems to be to much . so i have been reading that we should start light say 1/4 strength , if i use fox farms nuts micro, grow, bloom do i give each one in 1/4 strength in veg enough or to much . tired of nut burn on my plants need a little help.

Your medium matters too. If you're in soil and it has nutrients, you may not want to even use your FF nutes until flower. If your medium has little or no nutrients, then try about 1/3 strength and adjust as they grow.

thanks for your reply polishpollack the soil i am using is kellogge patio plus , the problem is can't keep any of the lower growth green . as you can see from the pics , plant have no leaves because the have all dried up and fell off .was told it was a nitro diff, then a cal/mag diff, potassium diff, have treated for all of these nuts and still have the problem , been thinking its a fungus issue ,something like Septoria leaf spots' but not sure or possibly too much nuts

I think you might have hit it on the nail head SheeshM thanks for your reply

it might be helpful if you take close up pics of the leaves. there is weird spotting. have you looked for small bugs? sad to say but maybe start over if you could, get rid of these and start over but you really need to know what this is to prevent it from happening again. are you spraying the leaves with anything?

Idk but every time I use fox farm I really don’t have a problem til around week 6.. up pot in veg.. so to combat the problem at 6 weeks, I start using 4-9-3 flowering dry organic.. 1 Tablespoon per gallon... or prepare a soil with the fertilizer and transplant.. done deal..,at the most I give a little bit of epsom salt.. every now and then

I use a different brand substrate (FF not available here) and it usually carries itself until about week 3-4 depending on strain, but never beyond week 4. At week 5 i usually have to give them FULL STRENGHT nutes or i'll be dealing with horrible deficiencies.

thanks for your comment Renfro , been using the three nuts for grow cycle from fox farm at 1/2 tsp per gallon of water about five into grow cycle my plants have been yellowing then brown and fall off , also have stopped growing at my wits end should i start over ???
Damn, burnt nuts. Nut burn is bad, not sure how you got it, but it's bad. lol

That might be your problem.
Renfro was making a joke, by the way, which is what this thread has turned into. If my nuts were burning, I'd also be at my wits end.

Dude, it's nutes, not nuts. That's the reason for the banter! Sorry about your plant problem, tho! I have no suggestions. Good Luck!
