Lmao. Auto flower, stunted by over watering, miracle grow, added nutrients, heat stress, no true dark period (kept under a lamp post at night).

I'm sure im forgetting a ton of other 1st time fails but yep. That was how I pulled that magnificent bastard off.

I use just florescent t5s and I still get a decent pull with low energy bill.

I would use t5 or led but you will definitely need a carbon filter.

Its going to be pretty hard to hide even a small grow unless nobody goes into your room.

Whats the penalty for growing if the cops find out? The owner of the house could possibly face charges so thats something to think about too.

Two points I can think of.

1 - DON'T DO IT IF IT ISN'T YOUR HOUSE!!

2 - If you do decide to ignore point 1, then get a qb board and grow in a small cupboard like this plant was in - it is no bigger than a small fridge. Home made carbon filter. QB was run at 55w so entire grow cost no more than £20 start to finish over 3 months. Don't go on your xbox a day a week and you will probably save that much.
Ended up with 92g dry. Not bad to say it was just done to see if I could use some home made pollen to get seeds, wasn't really fussed about getting buds from her.

The cheapest method (which i know doesnt suit you but just in case you may have access to a garage (nanna's are always an option)).
Ebay Kits with a 4 x 4 tent, 600W Ballast with MH and HPS lamps, fans, filters timers everyfkn thing really cheap. Around $500. Aint the best stuff but gets you going and everything in the kits can be repurposed as/if the hobbie grows. Cost of two ounces and you can grow a pound.

I can spend up to $100-250 for a good reliable setup.

Give up.

1) You don't have the budget to do a legit, stealth mini grow.

2) Like a lot of people mentioned, your mom will find out. That's gonna be your end result, likely before you even get close to harvest.

3) Get tf off of your Xbox and get a fucking job. That's gonna be life until you get your own place.

Not no kid, I’m 21 and I’m currently unemployed and have $10k saved up from pua benefits due to the covid pandemic. I can easily increase my budget if I wanted to. Or I can move out and get my own space but I prefer to save my money instead. U sound like a real ass making assumptions about somebody who’s just trying to learn and make the best out of his resources.

The best i could do on the cheap option for growing good quality/quantity.
I would get a cheap hid, fan, and an quality carbon filter maybe two. A kit of gh trio, some calmag and just go

You should do something that makes you happy and less grumpy. Walking along a deserted beach is my recommendation.
