That’s why you got busted...only those with licenses after the March deadline were grandfathered in..Yes it expired sometime in 2013.

Yup. Totally flawed. You can grow more plants then the grams you can store. These new cannabis rules in canada are ridiculous , the new ACMPR system is flawed. Im aloud 159 plants in my grow ( i only grow 8-16) but can only store 150g
This is from the government of Nova Scotia website :
"If you’re 19 or over, you can have up to 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent) with you in public. There are no restrictions on how much you can keep in your home, as long as it’s for personal use. "
The 150 gram limit that you guys are quoting refers to the amount of dried weed you can have in your possession when in public. It does not impact what you can legally have in your house as a Medical permit holder from Health Canada......you have the same rights as everybody elese - there are no limits whatsover on what you can possess at home.
Alberta for me, i will thanks for the insight ! also beautiful dog!Phone the 1-800 number from Health Canada. They will explain that to you. I do not know what is happening in the other provinces, I live in Nova Scotia.
150g of fresh bud= 30g dryit says right on the form the maximum amount i am authorized to possess is 150g it doesnt say anything separating public possession and storage.
If im wrong then thank you for correcting me because ive been nervous af about having too much bud
is that how much you can possess on your persons outside in public? Or does it specify for home as well?My permit says "Maximum Quantity of Dried Cannabis Authorized to Possess : 150 g of Dried Marihuana or its equivalent". It says nothing about "fresh bud" at all.
No. That's what you can possess on you while away from homeThese new cannabis rules in canada are ridiculous , the new ACMPR system is flawed. Im aloud 159 plants in my grow ( i only grow 8-16) but can only store 150g
Yup, and add 30g to that amount for your legal recreational amount. Anyone with an ACMPR license can carry 180g... 150g medical + 30g rec.No. That's what you can possess on you while away from home
A couple indoor runs and a couple outdoor plants in summer and one accumulates pounds and pounds of weed and extracts. What is the medical reason for having 15 pounds ? Even if it was technically legal you're kind of abusing the system, no ?
For sure... pounds can add up over time. Also growing to some is their main hobby in their life, an addiction to some, a form of therapy for others... list of reasons goes on an on. Just cause you have enough medicine, doesn't mean you just stop doing what you love. You share what you love with others, you help other who can't afford it etc etc... that's part of the culture and it's being tainted by criminals/LP's.A couple indoor runs and a couple outdoor plants in summer and one accumulates pounds and pounds of weed and extracts.
Lots of people just give away ounces at a time.
Unfortunately some people abuse the syten to sell black market cannabis.
Oh and FYI All
Cops are checking larger grows as part of a bug crackdown on those abusing the system.
Not sure why everyone is all over this guy calling him a liar??
What do you mean when you say "part of a bug crackdown"? Are there random inspections happening in your neck of the woods based on big scripts? Wonder if Health Canada is just handing over list of people who have big license. More details please....Oh and FYI All

I meant ’big’ but yes, look around forums and such and people w 400+ plant counts are getting checked. What do you mean when you say "part of a bug crackdown"? Don't know why there's a witch hunt out for the OP. Guy's ATP expired in 2013, he did not get the additional paperwork required for storage, got pinched and charged. He's guilty by law, although a huge waste of resources. Are you all surprised it took 2 years to get a court date?
