Does anyone here that uses mc also use royal gold kings mix and how are you applying mc to this medium ? do you have run off everytime?

I use MC all the time for veg stage with Dairy Doo which is a high nute soil. I let the plants grow for a month and a half before I start feeding so as to not burn the plants. hopefully this helps.

Do you water until you get run off with mc though ive heard diffrent things like you dont have to flush with every watering

I use fabric bags for my pots and feed every other watering and each plant gets around 10 gallons of water/nutes each time. so technically yes I flush since some water flows out the bottom of the bags around 2 gallons of loss.

Allenworks ~ I am also using dairy doo in fabric pots. Do you plan to do a full flush before harvest? I have read mixed reviews but nothing from someone using dairy doo (specifically I use VeggieDoo 301). Organically Done Bloom Boost is the only other nute I have put in the soil

i use 301 also, as for an organic bloomer just run water for the last 2-3 waterings. if you are using chemical or salt-based bloomers flush your soil and water normally the week before harvest.

Oh look another thread about flushing......

First understand what "flushing" and "fading" are then understand "when" to or "if" to do it. Starving the plant is never good.

DarkWeb ~ Your comment would be more helpful if you provided references. I just googled "fading" and am still unsure "if" this is something I should be doing.

For a smoother smoke and better taste. But I am all organic so I have read mixed reviews. I add bloom nutrients every 2 to 3 weeks (or when I see any yellowing in the bottom leaves). The fading process looks like I would continue as usual but not add nutrients when I see the bottom leaves yellow?
Fading would be going lighter and lighter on your nuits towards the end......but you would also need to know when the end will be. Not what the breader says it is.

Smoother smoke and better taste does not come from a flush.
