Ok here's my question I have 2 tents one for veg and flower and one solely for drying, I'm currently drying my harvest, my room temp is set and stable at 67-68 degrees and humidity at 55-60%. Can I go ahead and germinate and my beans actually pop at that cold of a room temp? if so I'll pop 4 more if not I'll just wait the 7-10 days till they dry, please help and thank you in advance

Yep, no worries. Provided the seeds are viable they will still germinate, just a bit slower. Of course you couldn't germinate in the snow, but a few degrees cooler isn't a deal-breaker.
I actually use the top of my hot water heater as a sort of heat mat to germinate seeds... maybe you have something like that you could use?

Just sprout them under the light you are going to grow them with. I put seeds in dirt directly under my 315cmh light. The light keeps a nice warm temp for them.

Let me rephrase my question,I'll be germinating in the house on top of water heater, then taking the germinated seeds out to my shed where it's currently 66-68 degrees for the next 7-10 days till my other harvest is done drying, will they be ok growing in that cold of a room at such a young age? It's only until my other harvest done then I'll raise temp back up to 78 degrees

If it were me, I would put my temp controlled seedling heating pad under them to keep the soil warm.

I wouldnt put them in a shed where there are likely bugs... And your shed holds a steady 66-68?
It's not a shed, it's a miniature house with ac and heat, thts wat I grow in, seeing as how I'm drying out there at a temp of 68 degrees would tht be too cold for the first week of veg of some new seeds or do I need to wait till I'm done drying and raise temp back up for the seedlings?

why not stick a small CFL over your seeds to warm them up a little.I've done that in cold weather and it worked well

Yeah “shed” doesn’t exactly bring to mind a building with heat and AC, does it.
I’m just lucky my shed doesn’t always have homeless people sleeping in it.

The last seeds I germinated... one morning before sun up I planted the seeds in 8OZ paper cups and put the cups in direct sun for two sun cycles. After sun down of second sun cycle I brought the cups in and placed under the light. To snuggle the cups closer to the light for heat I use a cinder block.
When I plant seeds I use FFOF right off the bat I think I might change that to a seed start mix.

Micro tent them bishes. Lol
Big cardboard box, w venting as needed.
Led tube inside on the top.
Heat pad underneath.
That way you do not affect your drying.

This is essentially what i was saying by "put them under a light". Now that weve established this isnt a "shed" im sure there is a closet or something that you could start them with a little CFL or whatever.
