Auto flowers outside - 4/5 wks old

I’m curious if the smaller plants are dying. I planted 3 Super Lemon Haze and 3 Grand Daddy Purple. All autos. I’m not sure which is which, but one died. They just don’t seem to be growing as fast as I imagined. I looked online at grow diaries and most autos are much bigger at this point. Maybe the pota are too big? They are 5 gallon fabric pots. I used good super soul mix and transferred them all at about one week old. They also got rained on pretty good once. Anyone have any thoughts. ? E

They are way behind and the two big ones are already starting to flower- you will only get a few grams of them. Where do you have them outside? Im guessing they dont get much direct sunlight?

I know. They are on my porch, granted it’s covered, but they are on the edge and I see them getting lots of sun. Maybe they aren’t really autos??

Whether they are autos or photos, they are not getting nearly enough light or something else is very wrong.....

Most people's first time doesnt work out well, dont sweat it. I would just carry on and see what ya get. Your soil mix looks pretty good. How often/how much are you watering?

I've got 3 lemon haze autos, here wojo so I'm gonna be following this closely, I've only ever had 2 successes, so let's hope I can learn from your little journal!
Also, these ppm readings, are they the pre-feed solution, or the post-feed runoff?

I don't think wojo is gonna help you any...

I’ve been watering every other day, minimally. I think they were over watered once and got rained on once.

If you try again this year. Less water. Especially starting in such a large pot.
When they are small. Only water a few inches around the plant. And don't water too much. It will stunt their growth big time.
You want them to dry out in between waterings.
The main reason being. If the roots don't have to travel for their water. They won't be big enough to support vigorous growth.
