Lawn fertilizer on weed ?

Any other lawn care freaks out there ever wonder if they could use their stock pile of lawn fertilizer on their weed plants or is it just me?

Maybe just go easy on it at first and try one plant so you don't lose your whole garden if it burns them. So far my plants don't even have crispy leaf edges or anything they seemed to have loved it

Yeah I'm only gonna use it on two plants that are in pots showing yellowing. My other plants are in the ground and very happy.

Hahaha

I do have one plant without it though so maybe I'll be able to compare the two and see if it actually does effect taste. The other plant has only had cow and sheep manure

Had a old neighbor that grew for a long time. He used 12-12-12 in veg and 4-12-12 (I think) in flower. He did well. But these were made for things like corn or soy bean

When I first started growing I couldn't get to a store that sells nuts for pot and I asked my cousin if I could use other ferts. She said if you get the right numbers for veg or flower the only other thing that needs to be right is the micro-nutrients. The iron, copper... . If you got those then the NPK are what they are. I have one strain of plant that needs more nitrogen, hate having to buy it for an inflated price at the grow store. May have to check out some lawn ferts.
