This is afterYea I'd pull some fan leaves from the top, inner side of the branch to let some light through
Yea that'll let those center branches grow bigger. I'd recommend a bitta lst to spread the canopy and even go as far as installing a scrog net in a few weeks. This is after
People prune all sorts of plants to encourage and/or manipulate growthObviously the plant has no clue what it is doing. How dare it grow those leaves it didn't need.
They certainly do. Apple trees, grapevines, bonsai etc... All of which have the benefit of having multiple growing seasons. Annuals on the other hand do not have this benefit. Although they do respond to topping and training that keeps them in check so they fit the grow space.People prune all sorts of plants to encourage and/or manipulate growth
The same is true of annuals, selective pruning and defoliation can improve the growth and yield of plenty of crops. Including cannabis. They certainly do. Apple trees, grapevines, bonsai etc... Taking fan leaves to give more light to lower bud sites is nothing more than bro science.
Time spent learning about apical dominance and hormonal distribution will benefit a grower and their plants. That's time well spent. Time spent plucking leaves is only wasting the plants time and yours.
Yea I'm in 2 80x80s so, as ever, every inch counts lolYea man especially in small grows learning defoliating training techniques increases yield greatly.
