Most of the Trichomes are Brown

Hey guys,

The majority of my plants have about 70-80% yellow leaves at this point, and we’re at about 8 weeks into flowering. However most to half of the trichomes are still white and stiff for the majority of the plants except one.

I posted a few pictures of this specific plant with lots of brown trichomes, and I’m wondering if it looks ready to harvest. Can anyone take a look at them and let me know what you think?

The trichomes are those tiny crystals that catch the light when you take a photo with flash. You want those to either by milky white or amber. The stiff white hairs are called pistils and they will curl in and turn brown before the amber color starts in earnest

8weeks from flip or when you seen flowers forming?

I'd wait it out at least another week or two.

Check buds with a scope or jewelers loupe.

Or like @Texgrowerz pics are good close ups, we can zoom in and see the trichomes! :weed:

yo buy a digital one, the zoom is far superior, and you can take pics easily and make videos while scoping for bugs and trichs. Something like this. mine was 25$ and works amazingly way more zoom over a loupe

P.S BUDs Look frosty my man, prob another week, Nicely done
