Yes! I just FIMmed one for the first time about 9 days ago. Its grown 4 and a half new shoots so far. I think I took too much off. I wanted to keep it small and bushy, but so far it's still about the same as my others were at the same point. I did it on day 23, I almost want to do it again, but the recovery time was a bit longer than expected.

High there, im new here and this is my first potpost :hump:. i use rooting juice when they are seedlings/sprouting..... once 2 or 3 inter-nodes appear and the leaves have a few more to them (finished seedling stage and veg stage starts) i start adding my nutrients. slowly and below recommended amounts during veg and slowly increasing depending on the strain and environment. very different story for clones though, as im busy learning the hard way.

@The8thChevron topping and fimming the first few times is quite a scary task. like cutting your girls hair for the first time. it just gets easier and your confidence builds with each time. FIMMING is the best way in my opinion, even if you just end up topping it, more colas the better. but topping and fimming wont keep the plants small, it will slow their growth speed down a bit but if you want to keep your plants small the LST (low stress training) is the way to go. and if you can FIM with LST then you will get multipl colas and a small bushy plant. keep in mind that if you are growing an auto flower i would not recommend topping again. you dont have time to let it recover in veg and get healthy before switching to flower. autoflower you have a limited period in the beginning of the plants life to give it any stress. it must recover and be a healthy vegged plant before it turns to flower.

PIC 1 is next group of ladies in VEG that i topped the 2 in the front and FIMmed the 2 at the back along with LST. 3 in the middle are cuttings i took from ladies in flower (monster cropping)

PIC 2 is the ladies i took cuttings from, they are almost ready for harvest time, i used the same technique as mention above with regards to fimming with LST. These are NOT autoflowering plants.

You can add Veg nutrients in a very light concentration. About 1/4 of recommended by manufacturer and look how plant reacts.

Its gets easier! So your pH might be a bit high. 6.2 or so is perfect for soil. Also the cotyledons dying off mean that it's ready for nutes. Start somewhere between quarter strength and half strength. You got this my dude.

I had the light on 18/6 then noticed the timer acted up and was on constant. Good plug on the WiFi outlet. No problems now. I’ll nurse her back somehow or live and learn
