What's your "go to" rolling papers?

Due to COVID, many head-shops were closed but I was able to find RAW papers, to which are now my "go to" papers, as I really like the idea of using a bleach-free paper.

I started using OCB and/or Smoking rolling papers since my trip to Spain in 2000, as I prefer the 1 1/4 size, plus they are quite thin.

Previous to that, I used ZIG-ZAG whites, which are a thin paper but the normal size, some of my friends used Chantecler, but they were hard to find

Back in the 1970's (here in Canada), it was trendy to use Export papers (made by MacDonald tobacco).
They were very thick papers, which were eventually referred to as Export blankets.

Funny storey about these rolling papers....in the mid 1970's, a reporter was interviewing MacDonalds about their financial report and asked if they were concerned that their sales of raw/bulk tobacco was down 4%.

They responded no, as sales of tailor-made cigarettes were up 7%, thus they believed that people were willing to pay the extra for the convenience.

The reported then asked....can you explain why the sales of your Export rolling papers have risen 425%

They responded with "no idea"

My first memory of rolling papers was those foot long Vogue papers, as it was my chore to roll cigarettes for my dad.....there was this rolling machine that would produce one long cigarette, then you would cut them into 5 normal sized cigarettes

I really like the OCBs. Buddy starting using them after his trip to Europe and they blast away anything else. I also used elements a lot but that’s just kinda what’s around that’s not super thick. I don’t roll much anymore anyway.

OCB was the most popular in Spain and my preference, but I like buying the 300 packs which I have not seen here in Canada

I'm a big fan of Elements, the rice paper is nice and thin and gives off almost Zero ash. I'm all about tasting my weed and not the papers. Some of my mates use really thick papers, might as well use newspaper if you ask me
I have used Element before, a very decent paper indeed

agree, thick papers can influence the taste of the joint, and not in a good manor
