I have three plants in small pots and they have started to bud before I can get them out will it be harmful to transplant them in the ground or bigger pots I don’t think they will grow more cause there budin but not sure

Don't forget the stretch. They double to triple in size.

Be careful when transplanting, fill a bigger pot with some soil, set your current pot in the bigger pot, make sure the pot tops are level and fill around that pot. Pack the soil around the pot and when you're ready, remove the small pot and plant, carefully remove the plant and insert it into the perfectly sized depression you created.

Toss in a few handfuls of soil and lightly tamp it down.

From his description it sounds like the stretch is mostly over as they have started to flower. Not sure if he's talking auto's or photos.

I like to avoid transplanting in flower, stress can cause bananas.

I've only ever grown photos and my stretches last eons. I agree, stress is the enemy here but the transplant method I described is fairly easy on the plant. He did say they were small plants.
