Well each to their own but I have never had a major PH issue and always understood that no PH adjustments when in soil.lol ok cool i use a mix of soil/ coco/ worm castings along with other additives. And iv had PH issues all the way through last year, always thought they were mag and calcium deficiencies, however i only learned this year when i started my indoor grow that when i added nutes and watered my plants i was messing up the ph and hence getting nutrient lockout
I do not even check it now and very rarely have and I can vaguely remember at a provious property when I did last check it was something like 7.8 - 8 out the tap and stood over 24hrs and runoff using this with nutes added was around 6 so my understanding has always been conformed in prarice so never thought any different and plants always been good. I'm very happy the way my grows work out despite not chasing numbers.
Did it before with Marine keeping, chased numbers all dy every day until everything gets fuxked and you can be too number driven.
I'm lucky I guess but no PH issues and generally have good grows by keeping it simple and have found that chasing numbers is not the way to go.
