Who’s using quantum boards?

im using 8 r spec boards and 24 strips from cutter over a 5x5 and it's very overkill lol. just the r specs would be enough but i just said fuck it. too hot right now so i cant grow at high power.

I run 4 288 r specs in my in a 3x3x6 dimmed down. First time with them but i couldn't ask for better results. Just got a pair of 288 b specs that will be used for flower because i need to, wanted to try them any way and r specs were out of stock so you know. See how they compare to my t5's in the feature!

Just ordered another qb132 pack. Going with a hlg-185h-c1400 this time. I like to keep it around a dollar per watt. Should run around 230w for just under $190. Hard to beat it

Been using HLG for years. I won't buy knockoffs because I dislike company's that steal trademarked names and intellectual..

But you have no issue with a company charging you over $500 more for their name, for the same shit?

Go with kingbrite or meijiu. Pretty much the same as hlg at half price.

I am new to the led world but I'm glad people are starting to realise this.

I've heard great things about the customer service at HLG so Im not saying they're a bad company but I will never buy their lights after I realised how overpriced they are.

People can spend their money on whatever they want but Iike to pay for quality components, not a name.

You should be fine as long as your environment is in check. I've flowered with a 6000k mh bulb and the nugs were not airy at all. I lost some yield but the trich production was better than hps.
Good to know. Yes it is. I've been growing for a long time but the led's are new to me. Thanks!

Funny how all these 'knock-off' companies are adding cool dimmers and controllers to their units. Along with improve their designs constantly. It seems these 'knock-off' companies are ahead of the real real.

I noticed that too. I bought a sf1000 from Archibald and it came with a dimmer attached to the driver before Spider Farmer added their dimmer and multi connect.
