1st time grower looking for input

Just wanted to share some new pics as I enter the 9 week since sprout. Ran into a bunch of issues but the plants seem to be hanging in there. I know looking at the trichomes they have a lot of time left, but I was wondering if some of the deficiencies I encountered throughout the grow would change the approach as we come time to harvest? On of the plants has almost no fan leaves left....... though they all seem to be still filling in at the bud sites.

Any thoughts or feed back would be appreciated.

it has a disease most probably fungal in the root zone. that is preventing the roots to do its job, i honestly have no idea what to recommend. but you need a way to kill the fungus.

Thanks for your quick reply VRZ711! Not what I wanted to hear.....but I appreciate it none the less.

Is there anything I can do to confirm that fungus is the cause? Can I dig down on one and inspect the roots or will that just cause more issues?

The plant seems to be taking up water and always perks up after a watering? They actually seem to be doing better this past week and I have seen new growth come in and the buds seem to be filling in more. I'm assuming if it is a root fungus it will continue to degrade until the plant dies? Or will it keep limping along? Any concerns with harvesting and smoking a plant with root fungus assuming they make it that far?

you are right a fungus infected plant will just die back. heat stress also caused this for the leaves for me once, in all cases she is finishing up. nothing much you can do now but be gentle with food and watering. wish you most of luck bro, and later if you want you want, once you harvest, cut through the stem to see if there are some colors red brown black inside of the stem.

Thanks again! Looks like I will just ride this out and see what happens. I appreciate the time you took to help me with this grow. I did run into some heat issue when the yellowing first occurred and think that may have exasperated whatever other issue I was having. I have also been so concerned with over watering that I may have went to far and not watered enough. In any event this grow has been a learning experience.....I just hope I come away with a little smokable product so I can at least call it a "success".
