Mold on fabric pots

I have two fabric pots sitting in plastic tubs to collect runoff. I just noticed there’s mold growing on the outside of the pots since there no real air circulation below the rim of the buckets.
I’m using promix and it has mycorrhizae. I’m hoping this is all it is.

The plants are in under a scrog and not really removable without a lot of work. I can cut the buckets down to allow more air flow around them.

Any ideas what I can do to clean off the mold from the fabric pots without harming the plants?

Nothing on the plants themselves just the lower parts of the pots.
They drain into pans underneath and I dispose of the runoff. So the pots are no sitting in standing water
The humidity in the tent runs around 40%-50%

I think I'll just add some ventilation holes around the buckets for now, it should help keep the outside of the fabric dry and kill off the mold. I'm concerned trying to wash/scrape it off will just distribute the spores.

neither do i. but if op wants to be pro-active i believe hydrogen peroxide will kill mold. you'll have to look up the rate. as a bonus the O2 part of hydrogen peroxide is great as a root stimulant.
Works great in a spray bottle........just don't spray straight on the plant.

In case you are looking for something else to do with your H2O2, I think they use it for anal bleaching too.

I gargle with it. Kills germs and whitens teeth.

I read that 3% HP mixed with water (1tsp/cup water) can be used as a spray right on the plants leaves. Also works for some pests it says. I've never done it personally.

this could be mykorrhiza, so beneficial
Yeah, HP Pro-mix has mycorrhizae which is what I'm hoping this is.. regardless it's obvious there's an airflow issue around the pots so I opened up the buckets I had them in to allow air to move around them. I wiped fabric down with HP soaked paper towel. I'll keep an eye on it but not really worried, just wanted to deal with it in case it did become a problem down the road.

I just flipped to flower yesterday. These are critical mass flaunts so I’m going to aim to keep the RH below 40F41349BE-E13C-4144-9ECD-F849E8579572.jpeg
