How did you first start to get into growling?

I started as a child, as I got better at it I realized it had an effect upon those people around me such as stopping and cautiously watching me. Over the years it's become an efficient means of communication and people will leave or apologise. It's very handy when raising children as well.
Anyone have an interesting story they would like to share?

Cussing only works on some nuisances, maybe growling would do the trick.

It all started when I listened to the Tears for Fears song Shout. Then I realized that this is what I was born to do.

Oh man I growled at a chaplain at the commissary today. I thought of you as I did it too. It even came through my PPE LOL
