I like the B though because I normally have to turn down anyways to have proper canopy lux.The hlg320-54A or AB is more suitable due to voltage regulation. At spec the 54B will onlyy drive each qb96 to around 150w max.

Oh yea that switch that seems to give them that spike in light.Actually i see what you mean now, the Vo adjust turns up on the C version. Strange, id check with meanwell. In any case id always go for voltage regulation, so A or C model is preferable.
Meanwell dont help out when they bundle the A,B,AB versions in the same report
It’s the cheapest one I’ve found but if you have any better cheaper suggestions please send the links to me. I’ve heard it’s 3-9 times more thicker than any other grow tent which I assume makes it less likely to have light leaks.
I’ll probably stick to the gorilla tent but thanks for the help I appreciate it

fine print: i do not endorse this method, but bubba does!
I have seen reviews about the hlg qb96 but the only downside for me is that I would have to buy the board and the engine separately, also I couldn’t find a hlg 340h 54b but I did find a hlg 320h 54b if that would workThat is their top seller. The diablo 648 single board and 660 full set looks very impressive.
So every 2x hlg qb96 v2s requires a meanwell hlg 340h 54B for max even wattage output between the two boards then just add more boards or switch it up. LEDs have opened up the spectrum world for us that is so much fun. I wont even begin to explain the effects of 660nm deep red and 730nm far red phytoclone process for faster flowering. Dont want to confuse you too much.
I wish I didn’t need a tent but I’m growing it in a garage so I’d rather just keep it in a tentWith a 1000w hps you don't need no stinking tent
This is referred to as an engine and includes board, thermal pad and heatsink.I have seen reviews about the hlg qb96 but the only downside for me is that I would have to buy the board and the engine separately, also I couldn’t find a hlg 340h 54b but I did find a hlg 320h 54b if that would work
Ohhh okay I get you since it all comes in separate parts does that mean It’s a diy light? This is referred to as an engine and includes board, thermal pad and heatsink.

Or are you referring to the driver as an engine?
And there is no HLG-340H-54B. The HLG-320H-54B is most likely the driver @Sade was referring to.
Not the only option for lights using the QB 96 Elite V2, but easily the most cost effective. You can also place the QB 96 so you get the most optimum spread of light for your space. The QB96 will run at a higher efficacy if they are driven somewhat softer than the lights linked below. Buy the necessary parts, plug some wires into connectors, figure out a way to frame the engines if you wish (or hang them by their heatsinks), hang the fixture (or multiple fixtures will be a better option for you) and you'll be well set lighting wise.Ohhh okay I get you since it all comes in separate parts does that mean It’s a diy light?
I might get 2 HLG 225 Or I could get a king plus 1000w grow led light it has bloom and veg built into it. I’m not sure what I should get tho. What would you recommend for a beginner with no growing experience at all?Not the only option for lights using the QB 96 Elite V2, but easily the most cost effective. HLG 225 is a plug and play light utilizing one QB 96 Elite V2 with a reflector and larger than standard heatsink (I believe).
HLG 225
HLG ELITE is 225W LED lamp is powered with our custom designed high efficiency Full Spectrum White LED with boosted Red and Deep Red LED. HLG 225 is equivalent to 315W CMH.horticulturelightinggroup.com
This one is a kit form of the HLG Elite 360. The plug and play versions of this light (regular and Eco) I don't see for sale any longer at any retailers.

I suppose that would depend on the person I was recommending the light to. If you're comfortable with a little DIY, I would recommend buying some boards (or strips although they generally involve more wiring and a slightly more advanced build) and piecing together a light. The first lights I bought were two 4 packs of QB 132 V2. If you can source the parts and have a little patience, putting these lights together is not very difficult.I might get 2 HLG 225 Or I could get a king plus 1000w grow led light it has bloom and veg built into it. I’ll avoid the king plus and yes I am from the U.K. and the budget is £600 and I’d really like a plug and play light I don’t really want to do a diy setup especially because I think I’ll probably break it by accidentI suppose that would depend on the person I was recommending the light to. If you would rather go with a plug and play light, there are plenty of solid options as well. Are you in UK or elsewhere? Did you say your budget was 600 pounds?
BTW I would avoid the outdated, inefficient King Plus "1000 watt" light.
Could I use it for seedling and veg I rather buy an led light so I can use it from seedling to harvestTry a 1000 watt CMH. Perfect for 5x5. You can find a complete kit ballast-reflector-3000k+4200k bulbs for 250-300$.
You have some fat ass colas must be a pleasure to smoke when your done putting in hard work. I’ll probably use cmh when I’ve got a perpetual grow but right now I’ll probably stick to led’s. Since I am a beginner it makes sense to me to start with a led as they seem to me to be easier to useI have CMH dim 600-1000w for seed to harvest. Right now is at 1000w for flowering with the 3000k bulb

That Spider Farmer SF1000 is not a 1000 watt light. Looks like the seller is branding it that way. It's only a 100 watt light so if you went that route you would need 7 or 8 of them to light your whole 5x5ft. tent sufficiently for flower. It will get expensive quick, £1225- £1400 for that many lights. What do you think about these lights

That's a good light too. These new quantum board types are very efficient and give very good yields. I use 2 X 240watt of these as side lighting. You will have good results like using 700-800 watt HPS consuming 450watt only and without heat issues. What do you think about these lights
