Is a 2k watt LED enough for a decent yeild?

There are no 2000w blurple lights, ya need to see watts at the wall, usual a 2000w is realllllllllly like 200w

So no, it would NOT be the same as a 1000w HPS/hid

Good point there. It's not just power drawn that matters. The light has to have better diodes than those out of the Christmas tree light reject bin.

I use 1 blurple around 240w actual. And one "full spectrum" around 100w actual. One was advertised as 1200w and the other 600w.

The sf2000 is 200 watts output. So probably good for maybe 5-6 sq. Ft.

Yes. Always check the wattage output. Sometimes the manufacturers only give amperage so multiply that by the voltage to get watts. With LEDs ideally you want 30-40 watts per sqft of quality full spectrum leds.

Well they never use to but after each member hyped it a little everytime i reckon its about the point it will out grow a 1200w de hid easily.

Real world though i see 600w hid growers destroy the 480w allday long.
