wood as it decays strips nitrogen from the soil and creates heat (aerobic decay). Neither of these is good For plants and potting mix that has woodchip is cheap nasty shit that offers only detriment to your plants and soil. As for the pots you’ll always see stunted growth when seedling have that much room as they’ll focus on root growth before leaf growth, have Seen autos flower the size of a coke can for this reason. Even with autos you should go seedling container than final container.
