What's up guys, been growing on n off for a while now, finally settled and want to set up my new spot, there's enough room for 2 lights maybe 3 (600w hps) the room is 8ft wide and 8.5ft in length, height isn't an issue at all.

I usually grow DWC Hydroponics in a tent, Vegging around 5/6 weeks, supercropping, topping etc pulling no less then 6/7 per plant dry.

With the high temps we're having lately im going down the organic soil route (bio bizz all mix) with bio bizz nutes

I want to get about 12 plants in 15L rhizo pots in this space, aiming for 4/5 ounce per plant, i usually put nets in my grow room and opened the plants up so light can penetrate all the way through.

My question is is 12 plants ok? Too much? Could i get more in there and still hit 4 oz per plant for 2x600w hps?

So i should deffo smash the 4pp Mark then really? Like i said i use hydro n pull a min 6/7pp and obviously soil yields less

P.s lovely grow btw, i done a run of autos, never again hahaha
4 pounds per light? no. In a 4x4 the best you could really expect is 2 per tent. Maybe 3 if you get the right genetics and you have a green thumb. But you should be running 2 veg tents and 6 flower tents. 2x6=12

Why couldn't i hit 4 oz per plant??
I hit that in coco before without even trying
Im far more experienced now then i was back then, if i was to hit 1gpw (600w÷6 plants = 100g per plant) which is just over 3.5oz per plant and that's hitting a gpw but i could get more

2 pounds per tent not per plant. Maybe 3 pounds per tent if you are a weed growing god.

It's not a tent, it's a room which is 8foot by 8.5foot, 2x600w hps over 12 plants i could hit 4 OUNCE PER PLANT = 48ounce, easily doable.
If you think it's not then I'd give up growing lol

oh man i had you totally confused with another thread i apologize man thats on me 100%.

Running 1200w at 1 gram per watt would be ~43 oz. So yeah 48 oz is totally doable. My first grow ever i hit 1 gram per watt lol. Consider cranking your lights to 660w the first 5-6 weeks of flower if thats an option on your ballasts.

Yeah man i honestly wouldnt even be afraid to run a good hortilux/ushio/gavita/philips 600w bulb at 750. Maybe even 825. Bulbs are cheap and when you are pulling several extra ounces......

If you have the height for it, double ended bulbs are THE WAY TO GO. 20-30% more efficient. The open reflectors need to be high as fuck- like 12 foot. This is the hood i run and i have it up pretty high but i need to get it a little higher (bulb is about 36'' from tallest buds, needs to be at least 6'' higher preferably closer to 12'' more though). I can only run it at 750w right now but its still putting out more light than my buddies single end hortilux at 1000w.
