To flush, or not to flush. That is the question.

So, I'm nearing mid way through the flower cycle on my girls and have been seeing mixed opinions on flushing in soil. I've flushed in soil always but IMO i've probably have seen a decrease in yield due to starving them the last 10 days. Also, a couple have been super 'carobony' tasting in the past even after a 14 day flush.

Feed regime is Bio-Bizz organics (grow/bloom) and I'm currently giving them 3ml per ltr of bloom and 1ml per ltr of grow + about half a tsp of mollasses.

Should I continue to feed right up until the harvest?

What are your thoughts?

Feed them so they get what they need especially during last weeks of bulking. Then you can taper feed down at end .

Thanks Guys.

Always flushed so will feed right up until the point of harvest and see how it goes.

Appreciate your advice and i'm sure you'll be seeing more of me in the future. :weed:

Science says not to flush. In the last 2 weeks cut back the food. But do not cut out the food totally.

In weeks 5-6 in an 8 weeks flowering strain they need a Mg/Sulfur boost.

In weeks 1-6 in flowering they need an increase of all nutrients, including Nitrogen. Balance is key.

Weed also basically likes the same amount of Nitrogen and Phosphorus, and 2x the amount of Potassium vs Phosphorus, and Nitrogen. Weed is a heavy feeder on Magnesium.

In weeks 2.5-4 in an 8 weeks flowering strain they need a Monopotassium Phosphate boost. 0-52-34

Hey so yall seem knowledgeable. I have a soil grow I been flushing for 2 weeks with straight distilled water. Last night I fed all plants 1 gallon of tap water with 5ml of terpinator and 5 ml of botanicare pure blend grow pro bloom. Ph was 6.5 about. All plants are in painter's buckets with fox farms ocean forest soil. I need to harvest them asap to make room for some clones that my dude who has good strains is giving me. Can I just pull them or ?

In real world terms ofcourse you can.

I don’t know what TERPINATOR is and quite frankly I wouldn’t use a product called that because well the obvious lol.
I would first check if terpinator contains any paclobutrazol which is a synthetic PGR.
