Why do my clones get so yellow in my easy cloner I have the PH set at about 6 to 6.5 the cleaning solution and everything I get roots and all that but I’m wondering how I can stop the yellowing should I put a humidity dome over the top of the plants as well new to the easy cloner always do use sponges

What's the reservoir temperature? Ambient air temperature? Light you're using above the cloner?

Don't use a dome on an aero cloner, can lead to damping off.

I’m using a 4 bulb t5 light

T-5 with the 6000 kelvin rating are the bomb for seedlings and clones. Hope that's what you are working with. Add some EWC to your medium and if you got roots you will be fine!

Most if not all of my clones stay green. All I do is cut them skin them a bit and pop them in some clone gel and into seedling starter soil.

ewc is earth worm castings

Earth Worm Castings. Use them to make shakes for seedlings and clones. Put about 5 tablespoons in a 20 oz plastic bottle, fill with warm water, screw the lid on tight and shake the hell out of it to emulsify it. Seedlings love it.

Why didn't you answer my questions about temperatures?

Make sure your res temp is higher than the ambient air temperature, and turn down or otherwise diffuse some of the light. Too much light and the plants will try to grow upwards instead of just roots. Warmer air than the water the roots are in exacerbate that. Foliage growth requires the plant to start using nutrients stored in the leaves, which is why you are seeing yellowing. You want to do all you can to promote root growth and limit or eliminate plant growth until the clones are potted into their final medium.

I use Clonex solution to feed the shoots until they root, then add a quarter dose of nutrients.
