RQS - Critical & Royal Cheese

Hi guys,

Today im starting my 3rd grow.

Royal queen seeds critical photoperiod (left) & royal queen seeds Cheese photoperiod (right).

Tent is 1m x 1m x 1.5m.
600w Kingbo LED.
7L Fabric pot.
West pete free compost.

Ill only be using nutes if a deficiency appears.
Tap water.

Day 1 (ungerminated straight into the soil)

Hi bro, this is my 3rd grow, the first one i used nutes and the plants messed up alot, the 2nd grow i just used tap water and got 3oz a plant in the same tent and it was really decent smoke.
 
Day 3 ( once more unto the breach )

The cheese is looking good but im worried the critical isnt going to make it.

Hey There, interested to see how this goes as I've been looking to try Royal Queens Cheese, especially if it's got that dank cheesy flavour im looking for. I'm currently running Royal Queens Green Gelato (on the right) and Fat Banana (on the left) for the first time and am pretty excited to see how they turn out. Look forward to seeing more updates from you. Cheers

Hahaha, so high I posted 2 of the same pic. Also interested to sed how your No nutes regime goes.

Hi mate, this is the cheese its about 17 days since germ check out the size of it against my special queen germed around same time

I got the cheese because i have been dissapointed with the smell of other RQS strains so heres hoping for that dank cheese smell lol and although its only 17 days in veg if i sniff a leaf i swear i can smell a lofi dank smell.

Wow, thats some real difference in speed of growth. I'll be interested to see if the Special Queen catches up wigh the cheese. Both looking healthy though. I've been looking for a proper dank cheese for ages, grown out a few, but nothing compares to some cuts I used to get from a mate about 5years ago. Sadly he got them from a friend of a friend so haven't got a clue which breeder they came from. That's how it goes in the U.K when everything has to be undercover. I'll keep you updated on the Gelato and eventually let you know what the flavours and smells are like. You say you've been a bit disappointed with the smells, which other RQS strains have you done?
 
Haha trust im in the uk too, so far i have grown white widow and black domina, they both had their own smells but they were incredibly weak. The WW smelt like generic weed, the BD smelt like spicy fruit but was really weak.
 
Always good to chat with a fellow UK grower and thats no good, it's gotta have a good smell to it. Did it not improve at all once cured? I've grown a few things which didn't smell the most potent whilst growing, but after drying and more importantly the curing is where the stank really came out. I hope my Gelato and Banana are stinky, fingers crossed.
