Hi I'm in the okanagan and I was wondering when plants start to flower outdoor? I understand the photo period idea. But if you look at the sunrise/sundown charts here in BC doesnt move to 12 hours until later in the fall....
I'm also in the Okanagan. The photo-period plants I grow start flowering every year toward the end of july/early august. Basically they flower in august and september so there's not much harvesting going on until late sept or early october for your typical strains. You can grow auto's and be harvesting in august, I have a few going right now that I doubt will even make it to August.Hi I'm in the okanagan and I was wondering when plants start to flower outdoor? I start germinating every year on 4/20. This year I put my plants out in the 2nd week of May but normally I wait until the May long weekend (around the 24th or so.Thanks for the replies. I'm still indoors in veg and thinking about sticking them outside July 1st what do you guys think? It's also really really cold still
I never look at them right before bed. They're on a timer and I'm usually busy. I know it's not a problem just wanted confirmation. I'm a man of data so I like to compile as much as I can to make informed decisionsLooks like it's bed time...
As am I but I'm not seeing formations of buds just pistils in node areasSolstice just happened. Days are getting shorter. I'm at 35degN and my bubba is already throwing pistils.
That makes more sense. I was going to say I'm not in full swing flower until mid AugustI am a little north of you ganga, Other side of the border. Have five plants outside, no sign of wanting to go into flower yet. I anticipated having to finish them off in the shed.
