Just curious: Green Crack vs Cheese

I'm from the UK and as everybody knows the Cheese strain is ever present there. Now I live in Mexico and I just got hold of some Green Crack. Now when I looked into the lineage of these two strains on Leafly or Seedfinder or whatever they both seem to be a straight line direct from Skunk #1. How come Cheese can have its distinctive dank aroma and heavy stone and Green Crack be famous as a citrusy energetic arousing high when they appear to be descended from the exact same parent strain?

Green cracks a sssc skunk 1 x afghan and cheese is a sport from 1988 skunk 1 seeds from sensi seeds the thing to remember is old skunk1 varied wildly in phenos before it was bottlenecked to shit so the high taste etc varied too why so many strains come from it that and it was mostly pretty stable even tho phenos varied yields nice too another reason its used in so many crosses plus as with most strains you can breed towards the indica or sativa end of things depending on what you select for

I have grown the cheese it is one of my favorite and leans to the indy side while GK leans to the sativa side for sure neon green rock type nugs with a super racy head high def a keeper for sure , grow good grow big .....

Seedbank cheese usually is indica dom cos its crossed to afghan then backrossed back to the cheese a number of times the original clone only id say is more hybrid in the high than stone to the bone like pure indicas in my experience
