Yes . My boss hides the N95s in her cabinet in her office and she doesn’t have that many. You have to practically beg her for one and she Tries makes you feel Guilty for asking for one and makes you write down all the increment times you wear it. Only allowed to wear the N95 during close contacts then take it off and then put on the surgical masks . Let me tell you first hand it’s a royal pain in the ass. There is a few weeks stockpile at the hospital but that’s it . There is free nasal swab testing readily available finally That started last week!!!’ . But no antibody testing. I needed that test months ago. A little late.

With states and countries becoming virus free we need a near instant 100% test at the borders. More money has got to go into that to protect us from the unhealthy populations. This would of saved NZ from the 3 cases that flew in last week.

i know your not the sharpest tool in the shed but mankind has been quarantining healhy people (and sick, who knows who is who) since before the internal combustion engine. Its why we have the old world Quarantine and why we had quarantine stations and why ships had to quarantine coming into ports.

My coworker wants to move to NZ . He looked into it and found out they had zero cases of the virus at that point and told me that they were not letting anyone in. I guess that changed . That’s a real shame . They had it made. Just to get to zero cases is mighty impressive. I looked into working in NZ and Australia but I’m too old now . When I talked to a recruiter she said that if your 30 and under it’s easy but if your older like me it’s a lot harder. Oh well. I’m not much of a beach person anyways.

Yes it is fucked at my job. There was a team meeting on Friday in a small breakroom with 25 people that was an hour and a half long. Everyone had on masks but really???? I was late but it was painfully stupid!

I have been offered a new job in NY and I am in the negotiation phase. If I decide to move forward I am very interested to see the culture over there towards the virus. i have big visions of huge stockpiles Of PPE !!!!

that’s terrific news about your island !! Congratulation. I don’t know if I will ever be the same about shaking hands again. I always found it so repulsive .There is nothing more Disgusting then shaking a warm wet limp hand. I cringe just thinking about it.

What pandemic? That seems to be the attitude of many here, we have low rates but nobody wears a mask in stores, except me and a few others. Go to a convenience store and many people ignore social distancing, I've had to tell several people with stunned looks on their maskless faces to back off and 6 feet is the law etc. No one was stupid enough to argue with me and at times I was slightly less than polite! I was sandwiched between two 30 somethings one behind 3 feet and one in front 6 feet from me (who closed the distance) talking back and forth through me! I stepped to the side 6 feet and did some talking myself!
