Scrog net trellis net

I just bought a trellis net I don't know I think I was looking for maybe a scrog net instead I didn't know there was a difference can somebody please explain and break down the difference between them

Ayeee, just my 2 cents! I bought a trellis net and running a scrog right now! Works and performs that same purpose!
I've seen people do it with chicken wire, anything that spreads out and creates and even canopy is what you're aiming for!

What you use for the screen in a scrog doesn't matter much as long as it is a sturdy screen that you can train the plants into, not just a loose trellis for the plants to grow through. For a SCROG you want to use the screen as the main training method. Weaving branches through it to spread them out and even out the canopy.

Oh okay I see what you mean I see what you mean when should I start using these nets my plants are about 6 weeks old

When should I introduce my net at what stage

People put their nets up at various times. much of that can depend on how much space you have. I like there to be about 12-14 inches beneath the screen so that I can reach under and prune and water the plant easily.

Oh okay cuz I plan on putting mine up by next week

In my opinion, you could've started them a little earlier! But I think you could def get some training in before flower!
