I'm really surprised that I had never heard of this after growing here and there for the last 4 years.. I had an issue with growth in the begining of my jack herer x skunk grow and was looking for a solution. After doing some research on microorganisms and how to introduce and feed them in my soil, I stumbled across a great video of a guy using rice water to build good soil and feed the microorganisms and good bacteria. Rice water contains starch that feeds these little guys and it also contains small amounts of NPK along with calcium, magnesium, iron, thiamine, niacin, and folic acid.
After leaning of this I immediately tried it out on my girls. After just two days they almost doubled in size and became rich in color. GLORIOUS! Although I did add some molasses to the rice water which also helps feed good bacteria. This is how I did it...
3 cups of water.. let sit in bowl for a few hours so any chlorine can evaporate.
After dechlorinatikn add 2 cups of enriched rice and mix well..( I take a spoon and crush the rice best I can after adding it.
Let the rice water sit overnight and add a touch of molasses (1/4 tsp) stir and let sit another hour before watering..
Wallllaaaa!!!
