worried about mold !
How high is the humidity that makes you concerned about mold?

I "lollipop" all of my plants. That is, I remove leaves and smaller branches from the underside of the plants so that a lot of airflow can move around underneath the canopy. To ensure this, I have two small 8" oscillating and tilting fans on the floor, angled upward at 45 degrees (pointing up toward the underside of the canopy), oscillating at all times.

I never remove any leaves from the top of the canopy, other than the odd leaf that starts to die off.

Green is good. The only way all these people who defoliate their plants keep them alive is buy heavily feeding them with nutrient lines and you aren't going to get any mold in your tent with good circulation...especially at 45% RH.

humidity is 45%
You'll be absolutely fine. Until today, it has rained for over a week in my area. I also live at the edge of a lake at the bottom of a mountain range, so my humidity has gone through the roof (80%+ at lights off). As long as there is consistent, good airflow, you shouldn't have issues.

To be honest, I'd consider 45% to be too low humidity for my veg plants, so you need not worry.

Yup! My tent has hit 80% at night here, too, from all the rain and I've had no issues...and you know how bushy my plants are (:

Why are first time growers always so eager to remove leaves? Just let the plants grow.
I was the same.. not giving any respect to the nutritional value and the acts of photosynthesis the leaves were giving...just reading too much and wanting to try new stuff.. but then I thought, I don’t do this to any of the trees or bushes in my yard.. or house plants...so I just stop...

Watering at first lights on only. I just see these very tall plants with one main cola , just wasn't sure if 12 main colas will be able to develop well.

Some autos can handle it but others can't. I don't know why so many people have been choosing autos for their first grow. I know the word "automatic" makes them seem easier to grow, but they are a lot easier to screw up than a photo period plant.
