Hard water area who’s got a good way of dealing with it?

Hi so my tap water is 400ppm I’ve been using a zero water filter to bring down my ppm to 200 but the ph of the zero water is 2.4, this completely throws my ph off so I’m finding myself using a load of ph up Which then throws off my ideal ppm. Any suggestions? When I first got the filter I never even need to mess around with the ph as it was perfect but seems like after a couple weeks it’s making my ph go stupidly low

Small under sink RO water filtration system, definitely R.O and generally so you are aware, anything above 400ppm in your water isnt that safe to drink for people, you should RO your water for you and your plants... also dont know what nutrient line you are using but check and see if they make a hardwater version of your base, GH 3 parts makes a regular and a hardwater version of their base nutrient. I cannot say whether or not that is okay either, depending on how clean the sealed system is inside of your dehumidifier, have you tested the drain water from your dehumi for ppm level or pH? Does it produce enough that you can sustainably water your plants the entire grow with the same water? Im not saying you cant, im saying you shouldnt until you know exactly what you are giving your ladies

My dehumidifier can make 4 gallons a day runs 30-50 ppm and is slightly acidic depending how long it sits around.

Dehumidifier water can have a lot of contaminants in it because, unlike distilled water, the water isn’t boiled into a steam. It’s still fine for houseplants but it’s usually not recommended for vegetables or other consumed plants because of this.
