Mega Crop 3.o is shipping, also Mega Crop Part A and Part B

Has anyone else had a chance to use the new Megacrop yet? I’m having almost half a tsp of sediment/silt stuff that’s going undissolved in a gal of RO water. Mostly black kelp flakes and some white salts. Their two part dissolved nicely tho

Ditto. Shook the fuck out of it for 3 minutes......still a nice layer of white/black slag.

The new version smells totally different....more chemical/industrial. Doesn't appear to have the same molasses/etc in it.

I decided to give them some friendly feedback in that light. I mean...wouldn't you like to know if your customers were satisfied using your product.....like you do with your buds?

I guess MC sells enough nutes they don't have to give a rat's ass what folks think. On the flipside, I don't have to buy their nutes and will certainly refrain from doing so or recommending them to any other growers in the future. Here is the reply from "Customer Service"...

You were probably trying to mix in a method that was never recommended to be done, like "pre-mixing" in a jar in a liquid concentrate. That is why you were "shaking" something. So, I'm sorry that you had problems by using the product in a way that goes against the mixing instructions on our bag and website. Don't you think its pretty stupid to complain about using something when you are actively going against the instructions on the label?

Again, I don't think you are actually interested in discussing or learning, so will just leave it at "have a nice day."

LOL. and if it precipitates out in your res/doesn't mix....it's not their fault...you just didn't read the instructions. Had you done that...BAM.....it mixes in 100%...right? Wow.

On another forum someone asked me if I could sponsor them to do a grow report for Jacks 321 and plug my shop. I said sure as long as they state whether they are a novice or expereinced grower in the post and talk about any positives and navigates.

I’m not paying $40 a res change twice a week when I can do it with megacrop for less than $5.

I get a little ph drift, and a little sediment with the old “one part” megacrop but it grows good shit with a few additives.

We will see how the new two part grows and mixes as it’s basically jacks.

Really liking the 2 part so far.

Just picked up a bag of the A & B myself. I was using version 2 before and so far I'm pleased. The dust isn't as bad with this version (it's a slightly coarser grind), no horrible smell, and I'm hoping for better flexibility with the two part.

It mixed completely with my water with minimal effort, and the final solution came out clear. My pH came out around 6.5 with the recommended veg mix (1.5g A 2.5g B) and 6.1 with the bloom (4.2g A 1.8g B). Veg mix came out to an EC of 1.2 and the bloom was about 1.7. I do wish the calnit was crushed but that's a minor complaint. Hopefully it works well.

How's the two part Jacks going? Particularly the "Part A" (not the calcium nitrate).

I'm still undecided just waiting to see peoples reaction, my next thing will be to bring is some Spider Farmer LED's (hopefully next week) as an budget alternative to 315/600HPS systems as the prices are getting lower and pretty much same price as name brand 315 system and maybe $100 off a 600W HPS systems+Shade+bulb. Also Jacks is available locally and only 15 min dive to pick it up if I run out and I sell quite a bit of it have a really good relation ship with the supplier who also carries stuff no one else does like powdered and liquid EZ grow humic and fulvic. So have to weight the positives vs negative of carrying another 2 part.
