USING DAWN DISH SOAP WITH NEEM OIL OK?

Is this brand of dawn dish soap ok for plants? And how much should I use to 3 gal of water and 18 tsp of neem oil?

I use 3 teaspoons for that ratio I also mix the neem and soap first then add that to the water

I use a little dawn with neem but the blue original and not very much at all. A couple drops per quart. Be careful with the soap as you'll burn your plants. I've never used that orange version.

I would test on a small part of the plant and see how it responds. I killed an ass ton of hops vines one year doing the exact same thing that you are.

Whatever you use make sure it is applied on every surface area of the plants and 15 minutes before lights off. Imo

This morning I found a few aphids dead on my plants looks like the soap and neem oil is working they def dont like that soap!

Get dr bonner's peppermint soap and use 1 tablespoon per gallon with the recommended amount of neem.

I use neem oil all the time. I use 1 tsp per qt of water with a couple drops of blue dawn. Currently using it on some outdoor tomato and pepper plants. Once a week in the morning before full sun.

The times I've used dish soap, it was a couple to three drops per litre of water (pretty much exactly what @xtsho said). Any more than that, and you're likely going to kill or seriously harm your plants.

There was just another thread earlier today where someone was using tablespoon amounts and it deranged the plant so badly that I doubt it'll recover.

Do NOT use anything even close to a teaspoon let alone a tablespoon unless you're mixing up an extremely large batch.

Love Dr Bronner's Soap, keeps my cuticles and knuckles from splitting in winter and working in soil etc. Dawn does the job with Neem. Most times if a product says 70% Neem oil, the other 30% is soap which is necessary for the Neem to work.

Im about to do a foliar spray with neem oil and dawn for 1 gallon of water tonight and adding peppermint oil in as well. So can I Just use 1 tsp of dawn blue kind?

I just did the Dawn and water for my outdoor girls that showed mite damage and saw a few under them too. Sadly I might of just killed them cause we ran out of regular Dawn and just replaced our Dawn concentrated spray container too. Well a little left in the last bottle and no one told me they put it in the empty regular Dawn bottle. Burnt them to brown shit but I think the middle survived and can see new growth happening, but no solar panels to power their growth. Giving them a week to make sure it is new growth happening or I’m starting from seed again.
