Starting a Grow Closet. Need lighting experts!

First off, I posted this once and it disappeared. My sincere apologies if it double post, but I can’t find it in my activity...Anyway.
I need light experts please.
I grow only 1 to 2 plants at a time for personal, medicinal use. The temps are rising fast down here in Lone Star State. So starting a grow Closet.
Closet specs:
40inL x 28inW x 48inH. I can knock out next shelf for another 16inches of height.
Can someone provide best lighting options for ONLY ONE Plant in this closet?
Something to get me from Seed to Flower?

Or a 315 cmh would be great but they put off more heat.

Unfortunately, the kits are WAY out of my budget. Plan now is to reduce grow space to
3x3 and only grow one plant. Gonna have to settle with a 400w HPS. I’ve mounted a fan on the upper shelf, and there is an A/C vent in the closet. I should be able to regulate the temp.

315cmh is perfect for a 3x3 and quite a bit less heat than a HPS. What is your budget?

Well considering the $100 I completely wasted on 4 Feit full spec LED Grow lights (2ea 16w 3500k and 2ea 3w 3300k) my lighting budget in now $100 or less. Wife is already pissed I wasted the money on the lights hahha. Should have consulted the site instead of the dang stupid internet. I can get 2 250w HPS at Depot for about $11 each, plus a reflector so around $50 for that set up

Those bulbs require an hps ballast to run you dont just screw them in to a normal light socket.

The Mars Hydro TS-1000 is a great light. The reflector is a nice feature that isn't common among similar LEDs.
