This should clear it up well enough I think. You would just add as many strips as you'd like to in this same way, branching off the drivers positive and negatives to the beginning POS and end NEG of the 2 series wired together strips, using BOTH drivers for every pair of strips:

If I remember right, everything in that data Info area on Digikey or whatever is FOR ONE CHANNEL if the TWO CHANNEL strip.
Thats right. But Id recommend 20w per strip or channel max. The point with these is to use loads of them, theyre cheap enough anyways. Gettinng thermalls right is also easier on low.

So you just used the heatsink basically for some 10" strips?
Yeah, I stripped off the old diodes and just used the board as a mount/sink for the strips.
The fixture has 580mA cc drivers, so they push the circuits a little harder than nominal.
With the active cooling from the pc fans, it runs quite cool.

Ya it really is a cool way to use 10strips like that. You had to have fit more diodes on it than had you used single rows I'm sure?

Ok, so 20w each channel would mean 40watt each strip maxed out.
Is 40w each strip easy to cool with a simple aluminium profile?

Yeah as I said, at 20w total(10watts per channel) you could probably get away with no heatsinking at all. Just a good amount of air movement.
I do this but with sinking. These plasticy strips, not alustrips with copper core. But im very thermally minded, perhaps too much. I set these at 1/8" sheet alu and they do heat up, both alu and strip but not very much. I allways try for less than 50C.

My suggestion is to group all warm channels together in one group and all cold channels together in another group.

That way you can connect one group, the other or both and run in parallel. You can also finesse it and have separate drivers for both sections but it means dimming and having double capacity in drivers if you wanna be able to do a pure warm white.

Its easier with the connections if you run 2 strips in series over a 48A driver. Maybe even 2 sep hlg240-48A.
Theress also CC solutions but its hard to match drivers, and i loath recing high vvoltage solutions due to it being a bit dangerous.

They're called "Bridgelux's Vesta Series" customizable spectrum. Any 4x4 using newer white SMD LEDs requires about 500watts/30w per sqft. The amount of strips you use is up to you whether you wanna run 12 of them @ 40watts a strip, 20w per channel. This would require significant heatsinking. I would suggest you use about 20-25, maybe even 30 of them. All on 2 HLG-240's or you could even use 320's. It's completely up to you. And you need to wire 2 separate strips same channels together to get yourself a 50v circuit so you can use the 48V version of whatever size driver you wanna go with, be it 240 or 320.

Wow this is a lot being that im new. So i have to start off by getting 30 strips 2700k and 2 hlg 240s, right? Im gonna have a lot more questions when it comes to grouping channels etc. Idk whats a channel btw. Thanks I'll wait on your answer

And if you have any other suggestions in terms of strip im cool with that. Money isn't a issue i just eant to build it myself but also want the best build i could possibly make with riu help of course

I bought 4 stips of samsung F3 series, could grab them for a good price, with driver.(second-hand)
Thats 200watts Samsung F3 series 3000k 80CRI.

I still like the idea of having a tunable lightspectrum.

Should i still go for 200watt vesta's?(10 strips?)

or should i build a second serie of onechannel
strips like EBgen3 or samsung Gen3 5000k?
