Nixon was not worse than Trump. Nixon was devise and paranoid but he was also highly intelligent. He was also a very shrewd and effective administrator and diplomat. I’d take Nixon over the orange clown any day.

As for Republican Presidents I would agree there haven’t been too many good ones though Roosevelt may have been equal to Lincoln in the character department.

Trump is a joke, but he may not have been as bad as Nixon, or at least he doesn't have as high a body count.

Nixon was a proponent of murder. Viet Nam was where he piled up his bodies, with a few "whoops" bombs in the rest of region too. He also got rid of the gold standard, which greatly enabled more murder. A real thug. Do I even need to bring up prohibition?

Roosevelt, (FDR) was a total piece of shit and was also a proponent of murder, racism and stolen gold. Should have been hanged.

Both Nixon and FDR, should be remembered as lying, thieving murderers. Come to think of it, that's how many if not most Presidents should be remembered.

Teddy Roosevelt went to Cuba on an Imperialist raid and killed a man. He was lauded for his murder of the poor man who was trying to defend against the white Yankee Imperialists.

The only good thing about Teddy Roosevelt was it's rumored he had sex with a large hairy forest woman, presumed to be a big foot. Reportedly Teddy was hung like a bear....a Teddy bear.

He definitely glorified war. The entire purpose of the roughriders was to fuel his desire to stand out as a battle commander so as to make a name for himself.

Its a matter of opinion. Nixon was the greater danger to US Democracy. IMO.

Roosevelt was a racist pig. Not worst Republican. Maybe one of the better ones. But, he was a racist pig.

It's an interesting idea -- who is worse. Trump is absolutely awful and runs the worst administration ever. That said, he's alienated the military and the FBI. So, at this time, I don't see him as the kind of threat the Nixon posed.

The FBI cooperated with Nixon. He had much more control of the government and the wheels of government. There were a assassinations during Nixon's era. It wasn't just Nixon that made Republicans into a threat against the Republic. I think the times made Nixon more dangerous, IMO.

Also, Nixon was a workaholic whereas Trump spent about a third of his term out on holiday golfing. Power mad dictators don't take time off. I'm kind of relieved that Trump is lazy.
