i have the tent in its own room. the exhaust tubing goes all the way to the other side and it attached to a carbon filter. i cant run the tubing outside of the house due to the area i live in. not a good area. so i like to keep it discreet. the room is kept at 72 degrees but somehow the tent gets up to 85 daily. i have the vent on the bottom opposite side of the inline fan open to draw in fresh air into the tent and i have a fan directly in-front of the outside of the tent pointing the fresh air directly into the tent. could i run the exhaust into the walk in closet in the room?
The longer the exhaust hose is, the more resistance you are creating, and putting the carbon filter on the outside of the tent means you are "pushing" the exhaust through the filter, rather than pulling it, and that also creates more resistance. Why can't you blow the exhaust outside if you are filtering the air? Just get a portable air conditioner vent cap for it and nobody will know the difference.

What kind of exhaust fan are you running? If your room is 72 and tent is 85, your exhaust fan is not moving nearly enough air.

What kind of exhaust fan are you running? If your room is 72 and tent is 85, your exhaust fan is not moving nearly enough air. The fact that you are saying you are trying to "blow air into your tent" tells me your exhaust fan is not nearly powerful enough.

There's no point in putting it in the tent if you are exhausting the air. You just aren't moving enough air if your room is at 72 and your tent gets up to 90 degrees when the light is fully on. And, if you did, why wouldn't you use freon or any other AC coolant? Its sealed in the AC lines so it doesn't pose any issues.

Do you have space in your tent to set it up like this? This is by far the best way to do it. Fan attached directly to filter. Fan pulls air through filter and pushes it out of the tent. You can put it right at the ceiling of the tent at a vent hole and not even need to use any duct.
