havent used nutrients for about 2 weeks
Why?

It appears as though you've got more than one deficiency happening. The most prominent is the older leaves appearing as though they are deficient in Phosphorus. The new growth at the top of the plant appear to be suffering from either Iron or Zinc deficiency (among possibly others).

Plants need nutrients at a proper pH level. By the way, what is your pH? What nutrients were you using? How old are the plants?

Which Viparspectra light are you running? I'm not aware of any that draw 440W. Also, what do you mean when you say "on full veg spec"? If you mean that you only have the veg switch on then you need both on.

BTW, if you are talking about the 450W viparspectra then I hope you know that you need at least two of those lights for a 4x2.

Ideally, yes. If you only want to grow 1 plant, under lower wattage, then you are better off putting it in a smaller tent that is sized to the light. The reason for this is the reflective walls are further away in the larger tent. This is why we size our lights to the grow tent/room and not the amount of plants we intend on growing.

Then you need to exhaust the air from the tent properly. That light only draws 200W and you are cutting that down to under 100W when you don't have the flower switch on. That means that light is only effective for a 2 sqft space (1.4 feet x 1.4 feet).

If you can't keep a 4x2 tent from getting to 90 degrees, with only 200W of lights going, then I'm sorry to have to tell you that you are not exhausting the air properly. I'm running 490W of lights in a 4x4 and my tent doesn't get that hot with my 402CFM fan running at 60%.

Exhaust from the top of the tent and open up ports at the bottom of the tent as intakes. You need to make sure that you open enough ports so the side walls of the tent only suck in a little bit. If they are sucking in tight then you don't have enough intake. For example, I have one 6" exhaust but I have two 8" ports fully opened up to use as passive intakes.

Explaining how you do it now would be a good start.

Do you vent into the same room the tent is in? Don't.

Do you draw air from the same room you vent into? Don't.

Are you venting the hot air from the top of the tent and drawing intake air from the bottom? Do.

Are you conditioning the air in the room the tent is in? Do.

The quality of the air in the tent is directly dictated by the air outside of the tent. If the room the tent is in is already at 86F (for example), you'll have a hell of a time keeping the tent below 90F when the lamps are on.

To answer the question, air condition the room the tent is in. If you can't, move the tent to a cooler part of the house.

i have the tent in its own room. the exhaust tubing goes all the way to the other side and it attached to a carbon filter. i cant run the tubing outside of the house due to the area i live in. not a good area. so i like to keep it discreet. the room is kept at 72 degrees but somehow the tent gets up to 85 daily. i have the vent on the bottom opposite side of the inline fan open to draw in fresh air into the tent and i have a fan directly in-front of the outside of the tent pointing the fresh air directly into the tent. could i run the exhaust into the walk in closet in the room?
