I just think that the death of one man (at the hands of the police), leading to protests/riots that kill far more people. Sort of 'waters down' the argument some.
And, the media seem to not really cover these deaths (or other attacks going on). Rather, they seem to prefer framing the narrative between two sides. So they can get a nice 'east coast, west coast' battle going. Not just that, this type of coverage caused issues to spill over into other countries (like the UK). And lets not even talk how these media stories from the US play out in countries where they have always segregated and culled minority groups (and where no modern media covers their suffering anymore). Nice.
imho - People like David Dorn, Dave Patrick Underwood and Italia Kelly (amongst many others of all backgrounds) should NOT be forgotten in all this. Black lives truly do matter (as should, all lives).
