Watering in coco, how much is too much?

Hi Murph, I used to grow mango back in the day, you mentioned in one of your posts here that you had a mango seed... Who's version? Mine was Neville and I was able to further stabilize the strain by a couple generations. I got way up past the advertised thx content!!! I don't think anyone would believe me about what I got out of that strain.

To save cash on lights you might want to just get a smaller tent if you are steered off by cost.
How much are you trying to grow?

and is heat going to be an issue so you need LEDs? You may be able to go with HIDs to save money for this run if you can handle the heat gain

Hey, oh sorry about that, someone had mentioned the pots I was using are far to big for coco and I could grow a tree in that amount so I was messing saying I had a mango tree seed. Sorry man. That sounds awesome though that you done that. Sounds pretty complicated stabilising a strain ?

I’m growing 4 plants at the moment. Can’t see me growing anymore than 8 at a time in the future though.
I just bought it as a full kit and it all came together. I wasn’t aware they sold fake lights. Well I assume they’re fake if they say 1000w but actually aren’t? I could put my extraction fan directly about hour would need to get an air inflow to go over it I believe. Does that mean the light I’m using won’t produce anything at all because so far they look pretty decent. But like I say I’m completely new to this so that may be a silly question ha. These are some fan leave I took off yesterday when I had a prune. Think they’re a decent size? But not sure if that means it would still produce tasty sticky buds or not ?

In terms of your question, this is a current, working example of feeding in coco... 2 gallon pots, fed 3 times a day in flower, 1 gallon of feed per water. In your example you have almost 7 gallons in pot size and you're feeding less than 1/2 gallon per day. The big pot will be your challenge, in terms of managing how wet or dry the plant remains from feed to feed. The thing is, you don't want the coco to dry out...none of it...otherwise, when your plants grow into the dry coco it's going to cause you issues. So you'll have to keep the pot pretty well moist, but not let it get stagnant either...it's a juggling match for sure. I've up potted during your same time in flower without issue, but never down sized...which I would think would disrupt the plant too much, so you may just need to ride this one out and take notes for the next run. Good luck.

Ah ok, ha I was think it was maybe putting too much through but it seems that it may not be enough ha ha. Ok, think I’ve been keeping it moist enough but I’ll certainly be keeping a closer eye on that now. Sometimes the top looks like it maybe be starting to dry but only the top if I stick my finger in an inch or so it’s still a little moist. Thank you :)

It's really not that complicated, you just need a really strong male, kinda like a stallion gets when he is penned up right beside a bunch of females that he can't get to. And that's where it all starts ... I think there is a breeder section somewhere in here...
