Who is that guy who posted that stuff. Do you know him? What I'm pointing out and @hanimmal has provided details for is FB, IG, Twitter are all largely contaminated with sources from a massive psych-OPs campaign designed to destabilize the US. Your posts seemed to me to fit the profile for that.

My mocking posts about Plasma Beings were meant to point out that there are tons of fake BS on FB. That mention of the "high energy" area of the galaxy the solar system "has drifted into" is an example of the crap climate science deniers are flooding us with to enrich Exon and the fossil fuel industry. So, my main point stands. FB is a crap source of information.

That said, I have no argument with the assertion that this country is going to light up and not in a good way if a jury trial returns an not guilty verdict for the murder of Floyd. FB could be a benign social media platform but its not. It IS a valuable resource to help people stay connected. But the kind of shit you posted is an example of the kind of propaganda pushed by bad actors to cause harm. So, I just pointed out that there are better sources of information.

Mainstream media outlets were hated by Nixon and white supremacists in the 60's for documenting cop brutality against black people. Mainstream media is covering today's riots and police brutality. Trump and Republicans hate them. Cops are targeting them with rubber bullets. Your claim that mainstream media covers it all up is false.

Just because I have OCD on it, I think by 'mainstream media' you mean actual news media. If that is the case, you are spot on.

That has been the problem, by creating several thousand bot accounts and hiring enough trolls to fill this building.

All to push those stories virally and because people would want to read/hear about things they cared most about viewership is impactedWhich drives advertising dollars. That is one thing that really sucks about how snowballed the news media has been about the power of trolling until very recently.

They kind of took the same view of it I did back before I learned about the Russian attack on our democracy using social media and data analysis along with hacking American citizens to impact the news. Just random people trying to sell something or to troll others because they are bored or whatever.

Now it is clear that they have been using this to find specific Americans to use to their own ends 'Useful idiots', however they can. Some they might pay to troll or to protest in person, others with mental health issues to exploit, anything they can find is a data point to them for future exploitation. It is scary to think about a foreign military using video games to pinpoint vulnerabilities in our children. Because they have that information forever, not just now, if a kid is crazy they will be able to lean on them all their life.

Trump has to go. He has left us completely unprotected as a nation, messing up the only one real job he has had his entire life.

"We're going back this August 28 to restore and recommit that dream (of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) ... We need to go back to Washington and stand up, black, white, Latino, Arab, in the shadows of Lincoln and tell them this is the time to stop this," Sharpton said.


Sharpton said the march is going to be led by the families that "know the pain" and know what it's like to be "neglected," including the families of Floyd and Eric Garner, a black man who was choked to death in 2014 by a police officer in New York.

The reverend also said the march is "going to be getting us ready to vote, not just for who's going to be in the White House, but the statehouse and the city councils that allow these policing measures to go unquestioned."
