Now if we could somehow convince more restaurants to order that meat and sell it to go so we could cook it since the commercial suppliers can't get it to regular grocers we'd both be better off. Same with a lot of produce, paper and cleaning supplies.

Dog Haus is doing that.

Several smaller restaurants here are selling stock "whole" bulk packaging food items just to recoup the costs of spoiling inventory. Pizza places are take and bake on request.

I check out the weather bug site for the forecast every day. It has a section that lists air quality. I was usually concerned at Chicago's air quality rating, it was often quite dismal. It seems every day for the last month it has been listed as excellent. Kind of nice that the planet is getting a little break from our pollution, if we locked down until July, perhaps we could have reversed climate change ;)

LOL. Covid saved me too. I was required to go in person this time and have new photo and prints cuz it's been 16 yrs. Then Covid, so they gave me a break and let renew via internet. My licence pic is the same one from 2004, hot damn I look like I did when I was 54 :)
