To flush or not is a pretty heated debate but I will say dont pay attention to time. Check the pistols and when they stop stretching start looking at trichomes. Its chop time when you see 10 to 15 % amber. Hard to say specifically when your particular plant is at the right point without pics.
Yup, they will pack on some weight over the next few weeks. They won't get much larger but they will get more dense. There are some strains that will keep throwing fresh pistils out (I think White Widow is one of them) but you still want to see a higher percentage of those dried up (orange/brown) pistils curling up tightly to the bud. I personally would rather overdo it a little than harvest too early.
I have heard of that strain but I've never grown it. I learned fairly quickly that patience makes all the difference in the world with these plants.
Only one pheno does this in my experience with the old white widow and its the 12 week phenos that throw pistils loads most are 9 weekers and ripen more regularly i find
Thanks for this, I was pretty sure it was White Widow, but I wasn't positive. I just remember I grew it once and and the buds were so hairy even at harvest.
